Hira is a faith-aware wellbeing service. This policy explains the information Hira uses and the choices available to you.
Information we use
Depending on the features you choose, Hira may process account details, wellbeing and worship logs, coarse location for prayer times, daily step totals, purchases, community content, device information, and usage analytics.
How we use it
We use information to provide personalised wellbeing features, calculate prayer times, deliver reminders, manage subscriptions, keep the community safe, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your data for unrelated advertising.
AI food scans
Hira asks for your explicit consent before sending a meal photo to an AI provider for nutrition analysis. Scan images are retained for no more than 30 days. AI estimates may be inaccurate and are not medical advice.
Storage and service providers
Hira uses carefully selected providers for hosting, video, email, store billing, push notifications, analytics, and food data. Primary application data is hosted in the European Union. Encrypted backups age out under the documented retention schedule, normally within 90 days after deletion.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your information from the app. If you no longer have the app, use the public account deletion page. You may also object to or restrict certain processing where UK data protection law provides that right.
